To the cemetery to the grave Waldemar Matuška (†76) Olga was accompanied by her second husband and Matuška’s friend George Planner (89), former operations director of the Semafor Theatre. “The grave is fine. It is beautifully cared for by our friends Kristian Codes or Petr Kratochvíl,” enjoyed Olina, who is now on tour in the Czech Republic with the group KTO. Due to waterlogged soil and falling branches, the cemetery is temporarily closed. So Olga and George temporarily returned the flowers they had bought to the flower shop, with the understanding that they would pick them up and place them on the grave as soon as the gates of the Vyšehrad Cemetery opened again.
Almost home
Matušková stayed in Prague near the apartment on Wenceslas Square, where she and Waldemar lived before emigration, where they were happy and where they were only a few steps away from the legendary Lucerna. According to information from Bleska, Olga’s otherwise quite unavailable suite was arranged by the mother of musician Xindla X (45).

One family
And why did she fly to the Czech Republic? Friends of Campfires (KTO), with whom Olina and Slavíky from Madrid have been tearing up halls for 35 years, are celebrating their 60th birthday. “The concerts are also a reminder of fifteen years since Waldo’s death, so I’m very happy that the guys invited me to sing with them,” it’s not a secret that Olga will be performing with KTO tomorrow in Kolín. The tour culminates on September 27 in Lucerne. “And there will be a lot of guests and I’m really looking forward to everything. KTO has been a great family for me and Walda for thirty-five years, and now, even if our ranks are thinning, we will be one family again.” notes Matušková.
But the cemetery was closed!
