Vietnam is developing filming locations for the global film industry. This was revealed by Vietnam’s ambassador to Israel, Lee Duc Trung, at a ceremony held in Tel Aviv in honor of Vietnam’s Independence Day. Ambassador Truong also revealed that the Vietnamese government recently decided to open all academic campuses to foreign students from around the world, including Israel. The event was attended by Israeli businessmen who also work in Vietnam, representatives of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Economy, and staff of the Vietnamese Embassy.
The Embassy of Vietnam combined the Independence Day celebration with the 31st anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with the State of Israel. The event was combined with a culinary celebration, titled: Vietnam’s Gastronomic Diplomacy: Street food is the way to travel, do business and invest in Vietnam.” The guests were offered traditional Vietnamese dishes on the purity of kosher. In terms of taste and how it was served, it seemed to me more like food from luxury restaurants, than street food.
Ambassador Truong welcomed the guests and said that Vietnam is a source of inspiration and motivation for the countries of the world, and it has given hope to many countries because it has proven that it is possible to achieve -from the crisis of long war to peaceful relations and economic prosperity. He reviewed the history of Vietnam since the Geneva Conference in 1954, which led to Vietnam’s independence.
He explained that he chose to connect the event with Vietnamese food, because food connects people. “Vietnam has the best food in the world, which makes a good and stable connection. Part of our attraction in the field of tourism is due to our food,” said the ambassador. “My wish is that Vietnamese chefs come to Israel to cook for you at events and parties.”
Speaking about the war in Gaza, the ambassador said that his country wants peace, because his country knows the dangers of the war and its results.
The ambassador concluded his blessing by asking Israeli businessmen to come to Vietnam to enjoy and be blessed by its human workers, who are technologically knowledgeable but cheaper than the West and Israel. He invited the Israelis to visit Vietnam and enjoy the tourist sites it offers. In this context, it is worth noting that despite the ambassador’s words about tourism, Vietnam is not working properly in Israel to promote tourism. Less than other Asian countries, and even less than Vietnam’s own operations in other European countries. rope Because the tourism potential from Israel is very large.

The head of the Israel-Vietnam Relations Bureau, Eyal Bobilsky, spoke about the huge growth potential in Vietnam’s economy, and asked Israeli businessmen to take advantage of the opportunities. He said that he came to Vietnam for the first time 20 years ago as an employee at the Israeli embassy. “When I came again recently, I saw a big change there. But the good food hasn’t changed.”
The president of the Israel-Asia Chamber of Commerce, Anat Bernstein Reich, said that the chamber is a source of information and connections within Vietnam, and can help any Israeli investor in any field.
