Stefano Pioli is officially the new coach of Al Nassr, where he will work with Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcelo Brozovic in the Saudi Pro League.
The former AC Milan boss arrived today and put pen to paper on the contract.
Sky Sport Italia reports that it is a three-year contract worth €12 million per season.
Before doing so, he had to terminate the existing contract he still had with Milan, who had sacked him in May and were therefore still paying his salary.
Al Nassr announced the news by referring to the chant that became a recurring theme for the Rossoneri during their Scudetto-winning campaign: Pioli’s On Fire.

Pioli’s adventure in the Saudi Pro League
The Italian turns 59 next month and his previous clubs include Fiorentina, Inter Milan, Lazio and Bologna.
He was already on the verge of joining a Saudi Pro League team this summer, but negotiations with Al Ittihad collapsed at the last minute.
It will be the tactician’s first experience abroad, but he has players familiar with Serie A in his squad, especially former Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo and former Inter midfielder Brozovic.
