This was stated by the Permanent Representative of Russia to the EU, Vladimir Chizhov, in an interview with Russia 24 TV.
“Turkey conducts an independent policy and when things come to the point where certain decisions need to be implemented, Ankara has the political will and resources to implement them,” Cizov said. “We must not forget that Turkey is a member of NATO and a candidate for EU membership. However, the Turkish government conducts a fairly independent policy, in any case much more independently than, alas, the Bulgarian government”, the diplomat also stated. /TASS
