Giorgio Chiellinia former Juventus defender, returns to the club in a managerial capacity after ending his playing career last December. Having spent 17 years in the bianconero jersey, where he won nine Italian league titles and five Italian Cups, he will now take on the role of Director of Institutional Relations under the supervision of the President Maurizio Scanavino. Although he never won the Champions League, Chiellini made club history before concluding his MLS career with Los Angeles FC.
I communicated with you from Juventus Turin
Giorgio Chiellini has never stopped being a bianconero: in his heart, in his soul, in the values he has always interpreted, on and off the pitch. From 16 September, he will wear the Juventus jersey as Head of Football Institutional Relations. Giorgio will work under the direct responsibility of CEO Maurizio Scanavino, thus beginning a managerial path that will lead him to represent the club in relations with national and international football institutions. This role fits perfectly with the training that Giorgio acquired in the academic field, but obviously also in his figure as a man, a footballer, a captain and a legend of Juventus. From the past to the present: welcome home, Giorgio!
