In the last two years, the Polish organization KSW has been targeting the domestic market, where it also intends to return regularly. Since last year, she has managed three tournaments in the Czech Republic and this year she is planning a gala evening in Ostrava, where we will see the main draw of the Czechoslovak derby Michal Martínek vs Štefan Vojčák. Now there is also speculation that a Clash of the Stars star could also strengthen the tournament.
Stupid Tadlanek? Zajícová strikes back and fires sharply at Chochlíková’s husband and trainer
There has been speculation behind the scenes for some time that we could also see fresh Clash Champion Hanka Gelnar at the upcoming KSW event, which would make sense given her popularity in the region. The intention to use the Clash star at the event was confirmed by KSW sports director Rysiewski, who stated that Gelnarová was really being considered to start at the event.
The trick, however, will probably be in finding an opponent. Although Gelnarová is one of the best that the bizarre stable has in terms of sports within the Clash, this does not mean that Hanka can compete with other professional fighters. So we’ll see how the whole situation develops and if we finally manage to find a name for a balanced fight.
OKTAGON veteran Juráček also enters the fight
Matúš Juráček (11-3, 4 KO, 2 Sub), the ninth welterweight, will face Viktor Červinsky’s defeater Kacper Koziorzębski (10-6, 4 KO). Matúš Juráček has had a successful premiere in the KSW organization. In February of this year, he fought Henry Fadip, whom he was able to finish in the first round. Matúš has been fighting professionally since 2012 and has fourteen matches under his belt, of which he won eleven and finished six before the limit. Juráček has completed all his matches so far in the Czech Republic. Before entering the professional career of MMA, he also fought in the amateur scene. He appeared twice at the GAMMA World Championship.
Koziorzębski last fought in February, defeating then-undefeated Czech Viktor Červinsky. Kacper has been involved in professional MMA since 2015 and has had sixteen fights so far, ten of which he won. At the gala evening in Ostrava, Vojtěch Garba (8-5, 6 KOs), ranked tenth in the light heavyweight division, will face a dangerous knockout – Rafal Kijańczuk (12-7, 11 KOs). The Czech wrestler last fought in October last year. That’s when he debuted in KSW and fell with Michal Dreczkowski. The gala evening will take place in the Ostravar Arena hall.
