The first gingerbread and speculaas can already be found on supermarket shelves. Temperatures also drop considerably in the second week of September. There is still some time to go until Christmas, but the Essen Christmas market is already casting its shadow.
The reason for this is a problem that “Essen Marketing GmbH” is struggling with this year. But this now offers those who decide at short notice a “unique opportunity”, as the organizer of the Christmas market in Essen announced.

Essen Christmas market receives shocking news
The Essen Christmas market is becoming increasingly popular. According to the organizers, it attracts around two million people to the center of the Ruhr area city every year. Last year, the Essen Christmas market was even given a great honor in a survey (more on this here >>>).

The traders should really be fighting for a place at the Essen Christmas market. But as the organizer has now let slip, there are problems around two months before the start (November 15). “Even large traditional Christmas markets are feeling the effects of the world’s crises and, above all, personal fates,” explains “Essen Marketing” and continues: “For example, individual traders have canceled their previously certain participation in the Christmas market at short notice due to illness and business closures.”
“Rare opportunity” at Essen Christmas market
Although the application deadline expired on April 30, retailers now have the “rare chance” to get one of the free stands on Kennedyplatz. Essen Marketing is specifically looking for “retailers with classic handicrafts, special gift ideas, creative people of all kinds or specialties from all over the world.”

Anyone who wants to take advantage of the opportunity can contact the organizer by email ([email protected]) or telephone (0201 8872057). The hope for all visitors is that replacements will be found for the canceled stands and that there will be no gaps at this year’s Essen Christmas market.
