Ginés has arrived at La Voz ready to leave his name in golden letters in the history of the program. The young man comes from Malaga to show us the passion he feels for music that has accompanied him for many years.
Because he has done many things at 28 years old, from being a delivery man to a lifeguard, as he tells us in his presentation. But in the end, “one always returns to what one is most passionate about,” which is music.
Ginés is on The Voice on his own merits, as his sensitivity while playing ‘Contigo’ in the Blind Auditions won over the coaches and all of us who were watching on television.
But perhaps his path to The Voice was predestined, as years ago he covered a song by Alejandro Sanz that changed his life completely. “It all started with him,” said the young man, as he uploaded the video to social media and it ended up in the hands of Alejandro Sanz himself, who loved it.
The artist contacted Ginés and he, from his room and via video call, sang him ‘El tratamiento’, the version he had made with so much love. “I think that only happens once in a lifetime,” said the talent.
Following this, Vanesa Martín called him to be her opening act in her two concerts in Malaga, and Pablo Alborán also invited him to sing with him in the same Andalusian city.
