The Colombian national team has the whole country excited about the U-20 Women’s World Cup, where it beat South Korea by the narrowest of margins and advanced to the quarter-finals, where there is no other objective than to continue making history in search of the country’s first FIFA title.
Tickets are very limited for the Tricolor’s quarterfinal match on Sunday, September 15, in which the opponent will be revealed in the match between France and the Netherlands, to be played on Thursday, September 12 at the Atanasio Girardot stadium.

On the other hand, FIFA changed the schedules for the matches of the next phase, after reaching an agreement with the World Cup organizing committee so that they could be played at different times, due to the logistics of two simultaneous matches.
As has been customary since the first phase, every time the Colombian women’s under-20 team plays a match in the world competition, there is a full house at El Campín, Atanasio Girardot and recently at Pascual Guerrero, with attendance between 30,000 and 35,000 spectators.
For the quarterfinals, the Tu Boleta website, as of September 12 at 3:00 pm, reported that there were few tickets left for the Tricolor match in the quarterfinals, indicating that there were only tickets for the western and eastern zones.

On the website of the ticket distributor for the U-20 Women’s World Cup, prices remain low, compared to several BetPlay League matches, so that the public has the opportunity to fill the sports arena in this and other matches.
In this way, it is almost a fact that the Colombian team will once again have a full house for the quarter-finals, where it is expected to have more than 35,000 people as in the round of 16, against South Korea, and counting on the support to secure a place in the semi-finals.

In an unexpected turn of events, FIFA has decided that it will no longer have as many matches at the same time as it had been doing in both the group stage and the round of 16, modifying the schedule of the matches for the quarter-finals, but without changing anything in the initial schedule, which is set for Sunday, September 15.
“In order to offer four different kick-off times on a non-working day, and thus take advantage of the positive impact this could have on ticket sales and the promotion of the tournament, the following adjustments have been made to the schedules: Match 48, originally scheduled for 14:30 (local time), will now start at 16:30, and Match 45, which was scheduled for 18:00, will start at 20:00,” it said in a statement.

Despite this, FIFA made a clarification regarding the matches at the Atanasio Girardot: “The schedules of the quarter-final matches in Medellín will not be changed and will remain as originally scheduled. Thus, match number 46 will start at 14:30 and match number 47 at 18:00.”
As for the Colombian women’s U-20 team, the game scheduled for 2:30 pm at the Atanasio Girardot stadium was postponed to 4:30 pm and, if it goes to overtime and penalties, it would overlap with the 6:00 pm match, which will feature Spain.
Here are the schedules for the quarter-finals:
Brazil vs. North Korea/Austria (Medellin): 2:30 p.m.
France/Netherlands vs. Colombia (Cali): 4:30 pm
Japan/Nigeria vs. Spain (Medellin): 6:00 p.m.
United States vs. Germany/Argentina (Cali): 8:00 p.m.
