Numerous awards for Hessian, German and European champions Almost 180 athletes and clubs from Künzell who achieved excellent titles and placings in the last two competition seasons (from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2024 inclusive) were delighted with certificates, medals, cash gifts as well as lots of applause and words of praise from Mayor Timo Zentgraf. “Künzell is a sporty community and we are very proud of that,” Zentgraf opened the awards ceremony. “I am very excited that we have such successful athletes in Künzell who have achieved great success at the Hessian, German and European championships. The sporting club life in Künzell is diverse and with your successes you are inspirations and motivators for the young people and club colleagues and contribute to a strong cohesion in our community,” said Zentgraf.

Honoring the most successful participants in the city cycling event The most successful participants in this year’s city cycling event in May were also honored on the evening of the awards ceremony.
