In the last football season, the RTL Group established itself as the first port of call for German broadcasts – and fans also seem to have coped well with the move from ProSieben to RTL. Anyone who wants to continue to follow the sport without a DAZN subscription or NFL Game Pass will still get their money’s worth on RTL, NITRO and RTL+. After the season kicks off in early September 2024, you can now regularly tune in to American football on RTL and RTL+. The following games await you in the second game week:

This is what RTL’s NFL season planning looks like
Basically, the plan is that you can watch up to three games a week on free TV on RTL and NITRO, and one game a week will be broadcast exclusively on stream on RTL+. In addition, you will see the entire playoffs, as well as the Pro Bowl and the Super Bowl, in the decisive phase of the season. In addition to the TV and streaming program, RTL is expanding its NFL offering to include a podcast, a documentary about Jakob Johnson and the HBO series “Hard Knocks – Training Camp with the Chicago Bears”.

With specialist knowledge, biting comments and a good dose of humor, the well-rehearsed ran/ProSieben NFL team around Patrick Esume and Jan Stecker led the sporting evening. To the delight of the fans, a few of these personalities will also be competing for RTL.
