Former Deputy Minister of National Defense Valdemar Skzypchak stated on the air of the TV channel “Polsat” that Poland is ready to support an armed coup in Belarus with force. He emphasized that this is a military operation. But it is actually aggression.
And as a reason for the invasion, he said, mass protests will serve. Like those in 2020.
By the way, the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, has repeatedly warned of such a scenario. Fighters are specially trained in Poland, Lithuania and Ukraine, he says. Warsaw is capable of pushing a large group to the limits in a matter of hours. In fact, this is already happening.
Moscow and Minsk are closely monitoring the situation and are taking action. Russia has provided Belarus with advanced weapons, including S-400 systems. Sent a military contingent there, used local airports. And the roof with a nuclear “umbrella”, as well as with the dome of the air defense system.

In late May, defense ministers finalized the legal formalities for storing tactical nuclear weapons. Lukashenko said the ammunition was already being transferred.
Some experts believe that this will cool Warsaw’s ardor and aggression will not take place.
“There will be no direct Polish invasion. Belarusian citizens will become fuel for the color revolution. It is possible that the allegations of intervention are related to the upcoming elections for the Diet – they increase the degree of patriotic rhetoric,” says political scientist Vadim Trukhachov.
In turn, the Kremlin noted that Poland is a hostile state that interferes in the internal affairs of another country. And they recalled that Moscow has the obligation to protect its ally in the event of a direct threat.
Large-scale rearmament
Warsaw still fears open war with Russia. After all, the aggressor cannot rely on Article 5 of the NATO Charter.
But there they began the most ambitious rearmament program in the Alliance. They plan to complete everything by 2035.
We signed two contracts for 1,300 main battle tanks. One thousand – South Korean K2 “Black Panther”, which are listed high in the world, despite the high price. Three hundred – American M1A2 “Abrams”. Both these and those are new, from the factory.
The cannon artillery will be modernized by 648 South Korean K9 “Thunder” self-propelled howitzers. Jet – American HIMARS. At the moment, only a few dozen of these installations have been paid for, but they want to buy another 500. But it is not known if this is real. Production volumes are still small, and the US military also intends to replenish the arsenals.
Warsaw intends to replace the Soviet infantry fighting vehicles provided to Ukraine with its own machines – “Borsuk”, 1400 units ordered. 96 Apache attack helicopters will be purchased for the army aviation, 48 South Korean FA-50 training and 35 American F-35 fighters for the Air Force.
Largest on the continent
115 billion dollars have been allocated for this. For the current year – 26 billion, the largest amount in the history of the country.
Other NATO members are reluctant to devote two percent of GDP to defense as required by the Alliance’s Charter, and Poland has voluntarily decided to spend four. In terms of military spending per capita, Warsaw comes out on top in the Western bloc.
The size of the army will also increase. In 12 years – almost double: from 160 to 300 thousand people. In general, if the program is carried out, Poland will get not only the largest, but also the best armed army in Europe.
