Three months ago, the life of 45-year-old Marisela Beas Guzmán was normal. She lived in perfect harmony with her husband and children in the town of Zacualpan, municipality of Compostela, but breast cancer appeared and everything changed for the members of the family.
Marisela explained that it did not cause any symptoms, but she said that on one occasion she detected a pellet She went to the State Cancer Center for a test and found that she had breast cancer. She explained that thanks to the care she receives at the State Cancer Center, she has already received two chemotherapy treatments and there is hope that she will recover soon.
She said she has a lot of faith in God and hopes that her health problem will soon be overcome. She emphasized that despite how serious this disease is, she has not felt any pain.
She explained that she is a mother of two children and wants to continue living to share with them the most valuable thing she has: “Many human beings think or believe that the best thing we have is money, but that is not the case. The best thing we can share with our loved ones is time, but it must be quality time, because a day with our loved ones is invaluable. Being able to hug and caress our children, as well as our partner, parents and friends is something that is priceless.”
Marisela Beas Guzmán then asked women who find themselves in the same situation as her to remain calm, but above all to have a lot of faith in God: “Do not give up, never give up and do not stop seeking care, go to health services, now medical care in Nayarit is good, the service they provide me is of quality and they do not charge me a penny and with God’s help we will overcome this disease, of that I am sure.”
