So, with music from different artists, he has tried to reach all generations; however, something he did not expect was that the same artists who perform his songs would not be very happy that the candidate uses their songs without permission, so they have decided to ban them.

In recent days, Billboard magazine decided to publish a list of singers and artists who have felt aggrieved by the use of their songs in Donald Trump’s campaign, and so they decided to sue his campaign team in a New York court.

This has generated controversy in the media and on social networks, as the fact that several artists joined together to ask candidate Trump to leave their songs out of his campaign is a precedent in the history of the United States.

Isaac Hayes Jr. was one of those affected, because, although he is now deceased, an Atlanta judge decided to prohibit the use of his song “Hold On, I’m Coming”, a similar case is that of George Harrison, for whom the heirs of the legend of “The Beatles” decided that songs like “Purple Rain” and Tom Petty’s “Won’t Back Down” should no longer be used.

Beyoncé was also one of the artists who complained that her song “Freedom” was being used as the central theme of Kamala Harris’ campaign and had to be stopped. In that case, Adele and Celine Dion had to ask that “Rolling in the Deep” and “My Heart Will Go On” stop being used.

One of the most recent artists to complain was Dave Grohl and his band Foo Fighters, because their song “My Hero” was being used to liven up Robert Kennedy Jr.’s exit at a rally where he announced he was going over to Trump’s ranks, which the singer did not like.

Added to these are artists such as The White Stripes, who sued Trump for using Seven Nation Army, as they claimed that they had no knowledge of its use, so without authorization they could not use their great song that today also entertains stadiums around the world.
