Ewa Skibińska was dangerous after drinking alcohol
The star says it straight – she did dangerous things.
Eight, ten years of problem drinking, meaning that I was struggling with myself and I felt that I had a problem. I was also a threat to myself. I did all sorts of dangerous things. I suffered. I suffered terribly. Because it’s not like, “Wow, I’m so cool,” it’s like, “Wow, I’m so uncool now.” – she confessed in an interview with the Świat Gwiazd website.
The actress did not want to reveal what exactly she meant.
I can’t say. But life, health, safety threatening. There comes a limit, she said.

Ewa Skibińska finally stopped drinking. She couldn’t have done it on her own
Skibińska added that her friend helped her overcome her terrible addiction. It was another star – Jolanta Fraszyńska.
A friend helped me with this, she said I might have a problem. I cried then, which means my own body let me know. It admitted it because I just fell apart. She used nice arguments and talked to me well. Later, the daughter, who also had the courage to say what she felt. And so, step by step, I decided it was time to start doing something with myself, Skibińska recalled.
The hardest part – realizing the problem – is long behind her. Skibińska hasn’t had a drink in 11 years, but the fight for health was exceptionally difficult for her. Especially when the actress was supposed to take part in group therapy.
I was very afraid of group therapy, and now I’m a fan of groups. Although it’s difficult, because an actor who has to go to a group and talk to people there about their problems… If someone doesn’t try it, they won’t understand what value it has. How it develops, deepens. Conversation heals – she praised.
After years, the star openly talks about her addiction. Why? She is not afraid to be honest because she knows that in this way she can help others.
