At least 25 people were killed in successive Israeli airstrikes launched overnight on military sites in central Syria, according to the Syrian authorities, while the non-governmental organization Syrian Observatory for Human Rights announced a higher death toll. “The number of witnesses to the Israeli aggression is to 25 dead” and 37 wounded, according to the Syrian Minister of Health, Mohammad al-Gambah, who visited the area of Masyaf, where these attacks took place.
The US sends their military to back brutal Israeli aggression on our region while pressuring Lebanon, Yemen, Iran, Iraq, and Syria to stay passive. They talk of peace, but demand surrender. They’re doomed to fail. #SyriaTonight 🇸🇾🙏 pic.twitter.com/v1BrpE0ByX

The Israeli military, when asked about the matter, replied that it “does not comment on information from foreign media.”
According to Rahman, the strikes targeted “the Masyaf scientific research center” where Iranian experts work and “develop weapons, mainly precision missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles.”
The Observatory also reported that the victims were “five civilians, four Syrian military personnel, 14 Syrians working for pro-Iranian organizations and three who have not been identified.” “Buildings and military centers” were destroyed by the bombing.
