Nexans, a leader in the cable systems sector, announces the 4th edition of its “Climate Day” in Morocco, after a postponement due to the Al-Haouz earthquake. The event, in partnership with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, and the ENR Cluster, will be held in Rabat on September 26, 2024.
Under the theme “Sustainable electrification for the energy transition: a real opportunity for Africa”, this meeting will bring together energy sector stakeholders, experts and decision-makers to discuss climate challenges and propose solutions for sustainable electrification in Africa. Morocco, recognized for its efforts in energy transition, will be at the center of the debates.
Ms. Selma Alami, Managing Director of Nexans North & West Africa, praised Morocco’s initiatives under King Mohammed VI, highlighting its exemplary role in sustainable development.
