If we enter these elections with preliminary bargaining and agreements about who will rule with whom, only one thing follows – new early parliamentary elections. We have no way to participate in this bargaining, we have a coalition, messages, we follow them, we also have a collective body, we respect their decisions. So i.f. Chairman of the BSP Atanas Zafirov commented to the media in the parliament on the words of the leader of the GERB Boyko Borisov earlier today. According to him, the natural partners for GERD are those from the “assembly”, plus BSP and ITN.
The left expects a real debate in the election campaign, including and leadership, on policies. After the vote, it will be known who the Bulgarian society voted for, added Zafirov. He emphasized that the purpose of an election is to implement ideas. “When we see how our ideas are heard by society and other political forces, we can continue the dialogue, but this should not come at the expense of collective decisions or coherent politics for an alternative to the status quo. Everything else is pre-election talk, fishing rods and traps in which the BSP will not participate,” he also stated, BTA reported.
