Cristiano Ronaldo remains confident about Kylian Mbappe’s performance at Real Madrid.
Mbappe has had a mixed experience at Madrid so far. After scoring on his UEFA Super Cup debut, he went three games without finding the back of the net before netting twice in the club’s final game before the September international break against Real Betis.
Despite a slow start to his career with Los Blancos, club legend Cristiano Ronaldo believes the Frenchman will find success at the Santiago Bernabeu. The Al-Nassr star also praised Mbappe’s peers and predicted who could win the prestigious Ballon d’Or in the future.
Ronaldo believes in Mbappé
On his new YouTube channel, Ronaldo said: “I think he will succeed because of the structure of the club… it’s good, it’s good, it’s solid. They have a great coach and a president who has been there for many, many years. I think it won’t be a big problem because of his talent. He’s shown what he’s capable of. In my opinion, he can be the next Ballon d’Or winner. Him, [Erling] Haaland, [Jude] Bellingham,
Lamine [Yamal]. I think this new generation has a lot of potential.”
Mbappe will return to action for Real Madrid on Saturday night as Carlo Ancelotti’s men take on Real Sociedad in La Liga.
