In an interview, the chairman of the Party of European Socialists (PES), Sergey Stanishev, said that the presidential elections showed that people have the will and desire for change.
“This is a big chance for the BSP. People expect a return to real politics with concrete visions for the economy, for the social sphere, for education, for health care. The platform of the BSP must be very specific and clear, engaged and well prepared and discussed very widely circle of society so that people know what to expect from us if we win the parliamentary elections. But there is every chance that the BSP will return to government, to take on this heavy responsibility,” argued Stanishev.

“In the past presidential elections, we trained about 600 activists in the campaign of Rumen Radev and Iliana Yotova. We will do the same for all the elections that are coming next year,” Stanishev said.
