On Radio Zet, Mastalerek responded to this statement. He assessed that PiS is looking for enemies in the wrong place. – If they conduct their policy in this way and continue to operate in this way, this party will shrink and the electorate will shrink – said the presidential minister.
Referring to Błaszczak’s accusation, Mastalerek pointed out that in the same interview he criticized Donald Tusk’s policy and also referred to his entire political career. – Am I with Donald Tusk? This is absurd – he said.
– The PiS party is calling for money to be paid into them. For what? So that they can conduct politics like that? So that chairman Błaszczak can come out and say that the head of the president’s cabinet is actually with Donald Tusk? – asked Mastalerek. He admitted that as a person who “would like the best for the right wing” he prefers to donate money to Telewizja Republika than to PiS.
The presidential minister criticized Jarosław Kaczyński’s party, among other things, for organizing an election convention that was supposed to be a response to the big Civic Platform march. As Mastalerek assessed, “PLN 4 million was thrown away” on this event.

Mastalerek to PiS: Were all the conventions necessary?
He also spoke about the lack of savings by PiS, despite being in power for eight years. – Am I supposed to nod and say: “cool, you got 300 million in eight years, including refunds, you didn’t save anything, oh my, oh my, so now we’re all going to chip in for you?” You should have saved, next time save. This is how people behave: they get a salary and they save part of it – he said.
– If someone wants to tell me that PLN 25 million a year, when you are in power, because there is a difference, or when you are in opposition, is not enough and you cannot save from it, well, I’m sorry, maybe you will think about whether all the conventions you spent several million zlotys on were necessary or other various unnecessary expenses – he added. He assessed that the election campaign could have been much more creative.
