Shortly before his 40th birthday, Prince Harry has to deal with critical statements from a royal photographer from his home country.
Since their so-called “Megxit,” Prince Harry, 39, and Duchess Meghan, 43, have been repeatedly criticized for their withdrawal from their royal duties, and their new life in Montecito, California, has also been ridiculed by royal experts. This is also the case now, shortly before Harry’s 40th birthday.

“I think he [Prinz Harry] thinks he is bigger than he actually is,” claims Arthur Edwards, royal photographer for “The Sun,” in an interview with the British “Express,” adding that the Duke of Sussex was “somebody” in Britain, but is now “just another celebrity in a city full of celebrities”:

Arthur Edwards also believes that Harry’s decision to distance himself from the royals has deeply affected his father King Charles, 75, as he misses his grandchildren very much. “What really upsets the king is the fact that he has to [Prinz Archie und Prinzessin Lilibet] will never see. The little boy and girl should be playing with their cousins,” says Edwards, stressing: “They should be here enjoying the life of the royal family. Instead, they are stuck in their house in Montecito and are just celebrities in a city full of celebrities.”

“He comes back, but she never comes with him”
In his opinion, “anything is still possible” when it comes to reconciliation between Harry and the Royal Family, but the Prince must make a “huge act of contrition towards the King”. “He has to start seeing things as they really are and it seems that he is no longer welcome here. In my opinion, he has to make a huge, huge, huge act of contrition towards the King before he returns because, frankly, they are afraid to have him around because every conversation they have could appear on the next TV show.”
However, if there is a reconciliation in the United Kingdom, Duchess Meghan will not be there, Edwards is certain: “I also believe that Meghan does not want to come here anymore. He will come back, but she will never come with him.”
