The town of Serrano received a visit last Thursday from the governor of Córdoba, Martin Llaryorawho came to perform historical announcements in order to improve the quality of life of its inhabitants.
The provincial leader arrived with a delegation that included the ministers of Bioagroindustry, Sergio Busso; of Justice and Labor, Julian Lopezand Government, Manuel Calvo; the departmental legislator, Victoria Bussothe Executive Branch Advisor for the Southern Departments and former mayor of Río Cuarto, Manuel Llamosasamong other political authorities, representatives of institutions and the general public, who met at the Retirement Center and participated in a great event.
Martín Llaryora did not spare praise for the municipal administration, with the mayor Ismael Goñi at the head, highlighting his passion and heart “to defend Serrano and its inhabitants.”
He stressed that, together with the district legislator Roque Sáenz Peña, “All they do is go through all the ministries to bring solutions to each of the towns in this beloved Department.”, each within the scope of its jurisdiction and competence.
The fruits of this articulation are the commitments that the Province assumed to support local management, sending contributions which will be used in:
1. the remodeling of the Municipal Sports Center;
2. the “Serrano Adoquina” program;
3. the renewal of the internal drinking water network;
4. the “El Hornero” Workshop, the Villa Plomo Athletic Club and the Serrano Sports and Cultural Club.
In the first of these cases, the government will assign 70 million pesos; in the second, $30.000.000 through the FOCOM (Complementary Fund for Infrastructure Works for Municipalities, Communes and Regional Communities); in the third, 50 million pesos and in the last one, Five million to each of the clubs.
The Volunteer Firefighters were also awarded financial aid equivalent to $25.000.000.
