The first charity boxing gala evening in Bulgaria with free entry will take place on September 14, 2024. from 19.00 in Sozopol. It is organized by Revolution Boxing Promotion and is held with the support of the municipality of Sozopol and the mayor Tihomir Yanakiev personally. The event is part of the “Antea ART” culture month.
All boxing lovers will be able to support their favorite competitors live for free at the Apollonia Summer Theater.
After the boxing matches, the star of the gala evening – Sozopol-born Petar Draganov, who has recorded 9 victories from 9 matches so far, will auction a pair of his boxing gloves. Donation boxes will also be set up throughout the evening at several locations in the summer theater. All funds collected will be provided to a municipal fund to support the treatment of cancer patients living in the municipality of Sozopol.
The organizers promise a spectacular boxing spectacle.
In the main fight, Petar Draganov will fight 8 rounds against the Irish Franci Lozojo.
The boy from Sozopol will have the opportunity to please everyone in his hometown with a jubilee 10th victory.
The co-main event will feature Zdravko Popov, who takes on Brazil’s Gilson Gois da Silva.
Grigor Sarukhanyan will also make his return to the ring, this time moving down a weight class after recovering from left hand surgery.
In the warm-up matches, Nikola Stoyanov and Kiril Rusinov will face Moldavian boxers Dmitri Blinov and Gennady Gitlan, and before them Slavi Haralambov will enter the ring in a 4-round fight.
Guests will also be able to see Brazilian Jiu Jitsu demonstrations.
