Balve. This weekend, the town festival, which takes place every two years, once again attracted thousands of people to Balver town centre. After the Balver Heimatpreis was celebrated in the marquee on Friday, the real party started on Saturday evening with a warm-up.
Two stages provided music: in the Sparkasse festival tent with Veltins Pülleken counter, in the IBS car park and in the Volksbank car park. The cover band “Unart” from Siegen and singer-songwriter Lou Dynia with his concert directly from his caravan provided a first-class musical highlight at the start, before the actual festival in the entire city center was opened by Mayor Hubertus Mühling on Sunday.
And there was a lot for visitors to discover here: information stands, sales stands, presentations by clubs and the range of products from specialist retailers invited visitors to shop in a special atmosphere. The children’s mile at the town hall made children’s eyes shine, with a wide range of products on offer for our young citizens.
A Fux interactive music show, a large dragon slide and a meet and greet with the heroes of PAW Patrol, as well as Ladybug and Cat Noir, made for an exciting day for the little ones.
For those who didn’t have the chance to take a look around the festival, we have captured the most beautiful moments in pictures here. Photos: Sven Paul
