Allstedt/Emseloh. – The Allstedt district of Emseloh became the scene of a robbery story on Friday. As the police have now announced, a five-figure sum of cash was stolen there in the afternoon in a serious robbery.
At around 3 p.m., a 39-year-old from Quedlinburg and a 33-year-old from North Rhine-Westphalia had arranged to trade precious metals via an online platform, which was supposed to take place in Emseloh. After the man from Quedlinburg had shown the younger man the cash, a muscular stranger, around 1.90 meters tall, suddenly appeared.
Officers find discarded weapon
He threatened the 39-year-old with a weapon and snatched the bag containing the cash from him. At an opportune moment, the 39-year-old was able to leave the crime scene together with the 33-year-old, as was later stated to the police.
The officers had seized a weapon on site that the perpetrator is said to have used. There was no trace of cash or the alleged precious metal. The police also searched for the robber with the support of a helicopter. He is said to have been wearing a blue Adidas jacket, black trousers, a dark hat with a white triangle, large sunglasses and a blue corona mask.
The search for the perpetrator is ongoing, it was announced on Sunday. The police are accepting information about the crime or the perpetrator on (0345) 224 1291.
