OPPO has announced that it will renew its collaboration with UEFA for the next three seasons, during which it will be a sponsor of competitions such as the Champions League and the European Super Cup, among others.
According to the company in a statement, the aim of the agreement is to “continue to bring technology closer to football fans, through their smart devices.” “Various visual experiences” will also be offered in collaboration with UEFA.
The announcement of OPPO’s renewal of its sponsorship with UEFA was presented at an event held by both entities at the Royal Tapestry Factory in Madrid.
The event was attended by Iker Casillas, ambassador of the technology brand, who gave a demonstration of the functioning of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the recently launched OPPO Reno12 series of smartphones.
During the presentation, OPPO President of Marketing, Sales and Service Billy Zhang said, “The company hopes to further strengthen its partnership with UEFA, connecting fans with football through OPPO’s innovations in imaging and AI technologies.”
The OPPO spokesperson also confirmed that they will dedicate “more resources to helping young people and the global football community.”
SUPPORTING YOUNG FOOTBALL PLAYERS
To this end, OPPO will conduct a series of youth football development programs around the world, including countries such as Spain, Mexico, Egypt and China.
The purpose of these initiatives is to support young footballers and provide resources to football clubs.
The news of the sponsorship renewal was announced during the launch of the new OPPO Reno12 series smartphones, the OPPO Reno12 F and the OPPO Reno12 FS, in 4G and 5G versions.
These devices “are already available in the Spanish market” and have “advanced AI functions in the photography section and AI tools to improve user productivity,” the company highlighted.
