Social Media Management

  • Develop, create, and manage social media for CASIO, G-SHOCK, BABY-G, and Edifice watches in Australia.
  • Continue to build and foster a strong community.
  • Manage community engagement across social media channels.
  • Execute content across all social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest & TikTok), including creating stills, video content and copy in line with the brand values and tone of voice.
  • Monitor, assess, and recommend emerging social media trends relevant to our business.
  • Oversee boosting, performance reporting, planning, scheduling, calendar planning, and influencer management.
  • Propose ideas for improvements in strategy, content, and copy.

Brand Management

  • Responsible for brand communications, including social media, EDMs, blogs, influencer content, print, editorial.
  • Help develop and roll out marketing campaigns that capture attention and create buzz for CASIO, G-SHOCK, BABY-G, and Edifice.
  • Support the annual brand planning process to create a fully integrated marketing plan and calendar.
  • Understand brand positioning, target consumer segments, and the brand pyramid.
  • Ensure consistent look and feel across all channels through brand style guide development.
  • Deliver marketing initiatives, adhering to timelines and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Serve as the key liaison for projects, partnering with the greater marketing team.
  • Assist in key retailer POS & catalogue creation.

Marketing & Graphic Design Creation

  • Craft compelling marketing materials and construct presentations that tell our product’s story.
  • Design, develop, and execute impactful point-of-sale materials.
  • Solid digital asset development from brief to completion.
  • The ability to format artwork to suit each platform’s individual requirements.
  • Experience using photo and video editing software such as Adobe suite.

Strategy, Insights, & Financial Management

  • Execute the annual marketing plan for sustainable, profitable growth.
  • Develop an understanding of consumer insights and category data to inform content and decision-making for strong communications with the consumer.
  • Assess campaign results, drawing insights to sharpen marketing strategies.
  • Track KPIs to ensure targets are met or exceeded, and present response decks and new business proposals.
  • Deliver projects and activities within the agreed budget.
  • Track key programs, complete ROI analysis, and recommend changes as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to drive efficiencies, increase utilization, and reduce costs.

Product & Leadership Management

  • Partner with the Marketing Manager in the commercialization of new product launches, including consumer proposition-based content development.
  • Familiarize with brand style guides, guidelines, and vision; activate brand activities accordingly.
  • Support distributor partners with central brand needs and facilitate approval requirements.
  • Provide marketing inputs to retailer partnerships.
  • Lead and manage marketing budgets, create strategy presentations, and assist in product launches from forecasting to post-launch analysis.
  • Manage internal documents and take on project management and administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated social media experience – personal and brand (preferred).
  • Solid digital asset production skills.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Proficient with basic office and productivity software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management, decision-making, presentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Analytical and reporting skills.
  • Experience in developing and executing integrated social campaigns.
  • Experience in graphic design required.
  • Experience using a social media management/scheduling tool such as Sked.
  • Experience in influencer marketing.
  • Experience with EDM software like Klayvio is preferred.
