The NFL is back. The 2024 season kicks off this Thursday with a kickoff between Patrick Mahomes’ champion Chiefs and MVP Lamar Jackson’s Ravens.
Week 1 of the new season promises to be a great time for the league’s various high-level clashes, with the first official NFL game in South America on Friday, multiple attractive duels on Sunday that you can watch on BLITZ, such as Dallas’ visit to Cleveland where Tom Brady will make his debut as an analyst, as well as a great game in Miami.
The West Coast and California will also have some real blockbuster games, first a divisional game in Los Angeles and then a Monday Night Football game with Aaron Rodgers returning to San Francisco.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Kansas City Chiefs – Kickoff game
This blockbuster game between two AFC powerhouses will kick off the 2024 NFL season. The champion Chiefs led by Patrick Mahomes host the Ravens led by Lamar Jackson, the 2023 Most Valuable Player. A duel between the two most recent MVPs.
Baltimore and Kansas City faced off in the AFC Championship Game, with Andy Reid’s team winning, with a 4-1 record against Jackson, whose only win was at home. A great game is expected with the Ravens defense trying to stop the Mahomes-Kelce duo.
Green Bay Packers vs. Philadelphia Eagles – Game in Brazil
The start of the season will have an unusual start, as the second game of the year will be played on Friday and will be played in Brazil, where the first international regular-season NFL game in South America will take place.
The Eagles and Packers will face off at the Corinthians Arena in São Paulo, which will feature a clash of trains between two contending teams in the National Conference led by talented young quarterbacks such as Jalen Hurts and Jordan Love.

Led by Tua Tagovailoa, the leading passer for the 2023 season, the Dolphins’ offense promises to be spectacular again to lead Miami to win its division after 15 years without doing so.
Las Vegas Raiders vs. Los Angeles Chargers – on Channel 5
Later on Sunday, we will have a divisional clash between Raiders and Chargers at the impressive SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. You can enjoy this duel between AFC West teams on Channel 5 on Sunday at 2:05 pm in Mexico.
Raiders opted for the charismatic Gardner Minshew to take control of the team led by Antonio Pierce. Meanwhile Chargers hired the head coach, college champion, Jim Harbaugh, a veteran who already played in a Super Bowl 12 years ago and who they hope will give direction to the team led by the talented Justin Herbert.
Dallas Cowboys vs. Cleveland Browns – Brady en la cabina
The Dallas Cowboys kick off the 2024 season with a tough visit to Cleveland, a big game that will have the added ingredient of Tom Brady’s debut as a television analyst/commentator in the NFL.
The Cowboys still have a question mark over Dak Prescott’s future, although they have already secured one of their stars by extending receiver CeeDee Lamb. The Browns have Deshaun Watson, Amari Cooper and Jerry Juedy on offense, but their strength lies in defense, a real challenge for Dallas.
New York Jets vs. San Francisco 49ers – MNF
Finally, we have the first Monday Night Football of the season with the return of legendary quarterback Aaron Rodgers on his return to the Californian bay, where he shined in college.
A year after tearing his Achilles tendon in New York, the Jets’ brand new QB is back on the field after overcoming the injury and will do so facing the 49ers, National League champions, and the franchise that passed on him in the draft almost two decades ago.
The Jets have one of the best defenses in the NFL, as do the Niners, and San Francisco has a blunderbuss offense led by Brock Purdy, Brandon Aiyuk and Christian McCaffrey, last year’s Offensive Player of the Year. Monday night’s matchup in Santa Clara is sure to be a must-see.
