The chilling KO of Frenchman Moreno Fendero, which sends his opponent to the hospital

Having turned professional last year after winning bronze at the World Amateur Championships, Frenchman Moreno Fendero made a strong impression on Thursday evening by defeating Argentinian Carlos Miguel Ronner in Montreal.

The images are spectacular and quite chilling. Facing Argentinian Carlos Miguel Ronner, Thursday night, at the Montreal Casino, Frenchman Moreno Fendero didn’t hold back. For his seventh fight in a row in Canada, the man who turned professional last year confirmed his potential and made an impression.

The 25-year-old boxer knocked out his opponent with a terrible left in overhand at the start of the third round. Trapped in his corner, stunned by this incredibly powerful blow, Ronner immediately collapsed and lost consciousness in the ring.

His opponent sent to hospital

The Quebec Journal reports that he remained unconscious for several minutes while medical staff tried to revive him. He eventually regained consciousness and was taken on a stretcher to the hospital, where he underwent a CT scan.

Bronze medalist in the -75 kg category at the Amateur World Championships in May 2023, and established like Christian Mbilli in Montreal, Moreno Fendero now has 7 wins, including 5 before the limit, for no defeats. Accustomed to chaining since he was fighting his seventh fight in a year, the native of Bangui (Central African Republic) will put the gloves back on on October 17.
