/ world today news/ The President of Moldova declared his readiness to grant the armed forces of Ukraine passage through the territory of his country in Transnistria. This means Zelensky’s fighters taking over military warehouses in Kolbasna, which are full of ammunition from the former GDR and Czechoslovakia. Maya Sandhu then said that she thought it had been misinterpreted. But everyone understood – it was “verbal intelligence”. And how will we react?
The warehouses in Kolbasna, left over from the time of the USSR, are the blue dream of the armed forces of Ukraine and the West, which collect shells of the appropriate caliber for them all over the world. There are 42 thousand tons of ammunition there alone – for several years of war.
But Sandu is not strong enough to take them alone, but to demonstrate to the West her “anti-Russianness” as she wants. So why not scoop out the warm chestnuts with someone else’s hands? Whether it will be resolved or not is another question, but now we know for sure: the opening of a second front against Russia from the Moldovan direction is quite realistic.
Who gave freedom to Moldova
Moldova owes its existence to us, not to Romania, which the Romanian Sandu so dreams of joining. These lands acquired their own statehood in 1351, when the Hungarian king decided to create a vassal principality for defense against the Golden Horde. From 1503, the Moldavians were annexed by the Ottoman Empire, and the Turks built the Benderi and Izmail fortresses there.
In 1711, Peter the Great’s Prut campaign to help Moldavian Orthodox Christians during the Russo-Turkish War ended in failure.
The left bank of the Dniester went to Russia only at the end of the 18th century, and Russia received the right bank of Bessarabia in 1812 as a result of the Treaty of Bucharest. And for the next hundred years, the Bessarabian province of the Russian Empire was here.
Where was Romania?
She wasn’t there. Only in 1858-1861, the remnants of the Principality of Moldavia and Wallachia were united in the state of Romania, freed from Ottoman dependence after the Russo-Turkish War.
But later in Romania, which fell under Western influence, they began to clean the language of Slavisms. And in 1862, they completely switched from Cyrillic to Latin.
So it is not clear why Romanians still consider Moldovans, who have an older history of statehood, as “uncivilized Romanians” capable only of manual labor under foreign leadership.
“And we will go to the West”
During the revolutionary upheavals of 1918, Romania bit off Bessarabia, which was part of it until 1940. But Stalin forced the Romanians to give it all back. Then the Moldavian SSR appeared, which became the basis of today’s Moldova.
With the collapse of the Union, the republic declared independence and since then has been constantly trying to move away from Russia and go to the West. That didn’t help her.
More than 12% of the territory became the de facto independent Transnistrian Moldavian Republic. This immediately deprived the country of half its industry and more than 80% of its energy.
Chisinau wanted to return Transnistria, but our 14th Army prevented. Over the years, the population of Moldova has decreased from 4.3 million people to 2 million 603 thousand people.
People are fleeing to seek their fortunes abroad, including Russia, where over 350,000 Moldovan citizens work. But at the same time, almost all Moldovan presidents saw prospects exclusively in integration with the West. This reached its peak when the Romanian Maia Sandu was elected head of state.
She is not a “smuggler” and she is not Moldovan
The biography of this lady is common for persons appointed by the West as their deputies in the post-Soviet countries. He began his career as an economist at the World Bank office in Chisinau. Then there is a master’s degree from Harvard, a job as an adviser to the executive director of the World Bank in Washington.
Then the prepared girl is moved to power. Despite pre-election promises of equal interaction with the West and Russia, she took a course of maximum distancing from our country.
As a result, by the autumn of last year, consumer inflation in Moldova was the highest in the post-Soviet space, and GDP fell by 10%. Things are worse only in Ukraine.
The desire for energy independence from Russia has led to a sevenfold increase in domestic gas tariffs and a fivefold increase in electricity prices. In just one year, 2,600 companies employing over 100,000 people went bankrupt. Plus external debt, which is cosmic for a small country: 2.8 billion dollars.
“Primitive Moldavenists”
Another would have changed his mind long ago, but not Maya, who believes that the West will appreciate obedience, take Moldova for itself and give money. As a possible way to integrate into the EU, Sandu again considered Moldova’s entry into Romania.
Thus, an article in The Washington Times states that the Moldovan state is unable to independently and effectively implement plans for further rapprochement with the West. Therefore, it should be included in Romania and it depends on Maia Sandu and her party. The authors of the article called “primitive Moldavists” all those who are against the fall of Bucharest.
In order to break the resistance of the opposition, the American curators propose to destroy what the “primitive Moldavians” rely on – the historical heritage. Breaking with the Russian Orthodox Church, destroying the Russian language, eliminating traditional values.
In this context, the admission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the territory of Moldova for the seizure of warehouses in Kolbasna is logical. And there are about three thousand Russian peacekeepers.
Russia, which has no land border with Transnistria, has only two options. Or blow up warehouses, which would create the effect of an atomic bomb being dropped on Hiroshima. Or to start bombing the territory of Moldova, along which the fighters of the armed forces of Ukraine will rush.
In either case, this would result in mass civilian deaths and accusations of war crimes against Russia. After that, the Romanian troops will come to save the brotherly people and they will stay there.
“For this reason, Russia is interested in liberating the Nikolaev and Odesa regions and making a land route to Transnistria,” military expert Viktor Litovkin said about Constantinople.
“Only the appearance of Russian troops there can guarantee peace on this land. There are relatively few peacekeepers there. Therefore, they will hardly be able to fully fulfill their task if there is aggression on the part of Moldova or Ukraine,” he added.
What follows from this
The very idea that the president is leading the country to destruction and his people to mass casualties seems incredible. But nearby there is such an example as Vladimir Zelensky, who is doing exactly the same with Ukraine, leaving thousands of his compatriots at the front and at the same time quietly negotiating with Poland to integrate Ukrainian territories into it.
And what do we want? After all, both Zelensky and Sandu are not national leaders, but simply Basques appointed by the Washington horde in the conquered lands, who do what the “white father from Washington” says.
