(ANSA) – TURIN, SEPTEMBER 6 – Fratelli d’Italia with its regional health councilor Federico Riboldi will be present at the Festa dell’Unità in Turin. Forza Italia, on the other hand, invited to a debate on the Ius Scholae, has so far declined. “We are waiting for them,” said metropolitan secretary Marcello Mazzù and regional secretary Domenico Rossi, presenting the event, which begins today. “The position of the secretary of Forza Italia on the ius scholae and immigration,” Rossi emphasized, “is strong and courageous. It seemed right to invite the party’s Turin leaders to a debate on this topic: we are waiting for them, even at the last moment.” “In the next few hours,” he added, “the regional group of the PD will present an agenda on the ius scholae to the Regional Council. We would like to be able to discuss this issue with the president of the Region Alberto Cirio, vice-secretary of the national blue party, and with the councilors”. At the Festa dell’Unità in Turin there will also be representatives such as the vice-president of the 5 Star Movement Chiara Appendino and the senator of Italia Viva Silvia Fregolent, “these invitations were all accepted – Rossi and Mazzù remarked – as proof of the credibility of the Turin PD”.
