Handball Bundesliga on TV Frisch Auf Göppingen – HSV Hamburg in live ticker and live stream
Frisch Auf Göppingen starts the new season in front of a home crowd. The Württemberg team welcomes HSV Hamburg, who had to worry the longest about their place in the league due to the licensing process.

“As captain, I want to support my teammates and also form the link to the coaching staff and the club. It is important now that we play a good defense, that is the foundation. Niklas Weller is looking forward to the start of competitive matches. “I think preparation is never a handball player’s absolute favorite time – even if we’re actually still doing pretty well. We’re obviously looking forward to finally being able to score points and wins again and to being able to play the games together with our fans,” said the HSV Hamburg center back.
“Göppingen is difficult to assess. Unlike us, they have gone through a significant change – both a new coach and many new players. We’ll have to see how they’ve found their feet so far. I expect Ben Matschke to work very well with his young team and that they’re already very far along as a new team,” said Weller.
“Ben Matschke and the team have worked meticulously and we have come through with few injuries. The performances and results so far have been good. So we are looking forward to getting started,” said Göppingen’s sporting director Christian Schöne.
“We have gradually achieved our weekly goals during preparation and have already turned skepticism into anticipation. The defense in particular has worked well so far. However, small group work remains a key focus for the coming weeks,” said Ben Matschke. Göppingen can draw on almost its full squad, only Bart Ravensbergen and Ludvig Hallbäck are unavailable.
The new Göppingen coach sees opponents Hamburg as the favorites. “HSV is very well-rehearsed and Toto Jansen has always developed his team. They are also stress-resistant and that is exactly where our focus lies: staying patient when things are tight,” said Matschke.

The Handball Bundesliga started its play with three matches on Thursday, and the streaming service Dyn will broadcast all games of the strongest league in the world as usual.
When TSV Hannover-Burgdorf hosted VfL Gummersbach on Thursday at 7 p.m., Florian Naß was allowed to commentate. At the same time, Vincent Schuster was in action at the TBV Lemgo Lippe vs. MT Melsungen match. Presenter Anett Sattler and commentator Lennart Wilken-Johannes were on site for the duel between Rhein-Neckar Löwen and THW Kiel starting at 8.30 p.m.
