The acting debut of Juanes. The multi-winner of the We play will be one of the protagonists of the movie ‘Pimpinero: Blood and Gasoline‘, which premiered its first film this Thursday trailer.

The film, which will be released in cinemas in Colombia On October 10th and in Prime Video Coming later this year, it is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Andrés Baiz (Griselda, Narcos, La Cara Oculta).
Plus, it features a stellar cast, including Alberto Guerra (Griselda), Alejandro Speitzer (The Head of Joaquin Murrieta), Laura Osma (Goals against) and the aforementioned artist from Paisa.

Set in the desert of the border area between Colombia and Venezuelawhere the smugglers Gasoline smugglers known as “pimpineros” risk their lives transporting illegal fuel from one country to another.
The film follows Juan (Speitzer), the youngest of a clan of three brothers involved in this dangerous tradewhile forced to work for a sinister rival. Determined to uncover the horrible secrets that surround this no man’s land, Diana (Osma), Juan’s girlfriend, sets out on a journey in search of the truth.

Full of action, drama and romance, Pimpinero: Sangre y Gasolina addresses universal themes related to geographical, ethical and family boundaries.
The trailer is released days before Pimpinero: Sangre y Gasolina celebrates its world premiere on September 9 during the 49th Toronto International Film Festival, as part of the Centrepiece international program.

The film, produced by Dynamo, is written by Maria Camila Arias (Birds of Summer) and directed, written and produced by Andres Baiz (Griselda, Narcos, La Cara Oculta). The production team also includes Andres Calderon (La Cabeza de Joaquin Murrieta, Narcos) as producer and Cyndi Rojas (Milla 22) as associate producer.
