Five people died and 38 were injured in the Russian airstrike on Lviv carried out on the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi and regional military chief Maksym Kozytskyi said in Telegram messages.
Earlier, two people were reported killed and 23 injured.

Russian troops have also launched attacks on other regions of Ukraine. As a result of rocket fire on Kryvyi Rih in the south of the country, five people were injured.
