Perfect football weather, high quality on the pitch – on Thursday evening (September 5, 2024) a charity tournament took place at the Sportpark Nord. The Middle Rhine Football Association brought together the top regional clubs: 1. FC Köln (2nd division), Alemannia Aachen, Viktoria Köln (both 3rd division), Fortuna Köln, 1. FC Düren (both Regionalliga West) and the hosts Bonner SC (Middle Rhine League).
The tournament proceeds will be donated to the youth work of amateur clubs on the Middle Rhine. The format: The game lasts 45 minutes each, after two quarter-finals 1. FC Köln steps in. 8.35 p.m.: Viktoria has not yet found a way to penetrate Cologne’s penalty area. But the FC also has hardly any offensive chances left.
