Mr. Iliopoulos accused the regional Authority of “reckless use of human and financial resources” in financing “meaningless cultural and sporting events” on the basis of “Bread and Spectacles”.
Citing 78 decisions with a total funding of €945,000 for the first half of 2024 alone, he emphasized that these events do not meet the needs of the Region, while diverting valuable resources from critical sectors.
