Improving the living conditions of the population, the concern of representatives

Libreville, Thursday September 5, 2024 (Gabon News) – Gabonese deputies, after two months of vacation, met last Monday in the hemicycle of the Palais Léon Mba for the 2nd ordinary session of the National Assembly chaired by Honorable Jean François Ndongou sits under the sign of improving the living conditions and the lives of the people.

The opening of this parliamentary session was specifically for the study of the draft state budget as well as other questions of common interest, in the presence of the Prime Minister, Mr. Raymond Ndong Sima and the guest of honor, the President of the State. The National Assembly of Cameroon, the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Francophonie, the Honorable Hilaire Etong.

Please, the honorable Jean François Ndongou called on the transitional government to speed up reforms that are aimed primarily at improving the situation of the population. “August 17 and August 30 showed the beautiful association of the Gabonese people around these symbolic dates that allow everyone to appreciate the taste of freedom and self-determination. It seems important for us to understand following the recent speech to the nation by the Head of State that Gabon is our common heritage,” he said.

And to add: “We are invited to consider the values ​​that founded our country as the other heritage that we must preserve without conditions, those values ​​that were patiently built by the political pioneers, namely peace, patriotism, national unity and love for people. Gabon,” said Jean François Ndongou.

In addition, he spoke to his colleagues by inviting them to pay more attention to the concerns of their relatives and to find suitable answers for them.
