/ world today news/ Saxophonist Thomas March, who was a member of the rock band The Killers for two years, ended his life.
The musician was found Monday with a gunshot wound to the head at his home in Las Vegas.
His death was ruled a suicide by authorities in Clark County, Nevada, where Las Vegas is located.
The reason for the musician’s final decision is still unclear.
March, 33, was part of The Killers for the 2008 and 2010 tours. He also took part in the recording of the studio albums ‘Sam’s Town’ and ‘Day Age’.
“We lost our friend Tom last night. Our deepest condolences to his loved ones. Las Vegas misses his light. Farewell Tommy,” the group said in a condolence note on Twitter.
