Attorney Simon Ahammer has taken over the position of Director of Legal Tech and Digitalization at the business consulting firm HEUKING. Five years ago, HEUKING founded the Legal Tech division and developed its own award-winning Legal Tech tool (WhistleFox) with the Compliance Legal division. The importance of Legal Tech products in the legal market has continued to grow, “which is why we have decided to further expand the division professionally,” says Dr. Johan Schneider, Managing Partner at HEUKING.
Simon Ahammer (55) has many years of experience in the national and international legal consulting industry and comes from Latham & Watkins, where he most recently held the position of Innovation and Technology Solutions Attorney. Simon Ahammer brings with him more than 20 years of professional experience as a qualified attorney and extensive experience in software development.
At HEUKING, Simon Ahammer will work closely with Managing Partners Dr. Johan Schneider (Legal Tech, Knowledge Management & Business Processes), Dr. Philip Kempermann (IT) and at director level with Mathias Espeloer (Director IT) and Juliane Diefenbach (Director Knowledge Management).
In the short term, a further expansion of the legal tech team around Simon Ahammer is planned.
