Due to the media environment, voters in Bulgaria do not know the truth about Boyko Borisov’s rule and could not make an informed choice if they did not know it. Therefore, the main task of the caretaker government is to give it to them. Otherwise, there will be no time for many other things.
And looking at how the media environment has fallen in front of the new rulers – it’s time to speak the truth. There is no one to hide her now. I’m also sure that there is no one to stop the Ministers of Service from saying it, so it’s all in their hands. I will know for myself whether this government is successful depending on this criterion – whether it will tell the truth about Borisov and co.
The main departments have been pulled out of the hands of GERB, this is the first official government over which Borisov has no influence and there will be no excuse if the ministers prefer to hide the truth from the people who voted for Rumen Radev in order to have a change. Change can only begin once the whole truth is told about Borissov and his legacy. The rest is tralalandia.
That is why I prefer not to be hasty with my assessments of this cabinet, which starts work from tomorrow. It will be known very soon whether he is good or bad. At least for me, because I have very simple and easily achievable expectations.
