This was Susi Caramelo’s first collaboration in ‘El Hormiguero’ with her “Putácora diary”

El Hormiguero kicked off its 19th season on Monday in style: interviewing tennis player Rafa Nadal and introducing its new signings, Flex and Susi Caramelo. The Catalan is part of the comedy panel and also has her own section, the ‘Diario de Putácora’.

The comedian made her debut with a fun report about her signing for Pablo Motos’ programme, which this season will face tough competition from RTVE’s La Revuelta and Telecinco’s Babylon Show.

“I have a new job. I have finally been signed to El Hormiguero!” the Catalan begins. In her first training session, Caramelo takes a tour during her first day of work. As soon as she wakes up, she goes to the Atresmedia studios and waits for them to open the door for her as if she were a Hollywood star.

Later, he visits the editorial office of El Hormiguero and takes it with humour: “I won’t remember anyone’s name.” On his way, he is warned that he has to learn the dance from the beginning of the programme and in the rehearsal room he meets Juan del Val and many others. “What do these people think, that they dance well?” he continues.

Her first day couldn’t end without running into the show’s boss, Pablo Motos, who arrives a bit sweaty after having exercised. The comedian’s particular tour ends on the set “fulfilling a dream”: occupying for a few minutes the place of the most famous ants in Spain, even if they end up looking at her badly.
