Five years after starting his relationship with Mariano Martinezleader of Attack 77, Valeria Lynch is still as in love as the first day. In a recent interview with DDM (America TV)the singer dared to share the details of how this unexpected romance was born and how they managed to overcome their differences to build a solid relationship.
Valeria confessed that, at first, she herself had prejudices due to the age difference between them, given that they are 27 years apart: “I said that he wasn’t going to notice me because I was a lot bigger than him.“. However, over time, they both put those thoughts aside and began to notice that something special was happening between them.
The beginning of their love story was worthy of a romantic movie. “We had known each other for two years because he had produced two rock albums for me. It happened little by little. I thought ‘it can’t be, he looked at me’, and he thought the same, but neither of us took the first step,” Valeria recounted.
Everything changed during a Lynch show in Puerto Madryn where the rocker was a guest, when Mariano left a sweet surprise on the balcony of his hotel room: “My assistant Leo was changing me and he told me that there was a little bear on the balcony with a roll of toilet paper. When I grabbed it, it said: ‘I miss you’, very romantic.”
Valeria also revealed how Mariano helped her enjoy life more and relax: “I’m a little dust and an explosive bomb, and he’s calm. He brings me down to earth. He tells me to enjoy, that it doesn’t matter what’s going to happen, that I shouldn’t project.” Although she admitted that each one remains faithful to their essence, both have found a perfect balance: “He’s not that much of a rocker and I’m not that much of a ballad player, at one point we got along very well“.
