The forty-two-year-old Černošková published the surprising news on the last holiday day. “Dear fans, dear followers, when I first joined the Brno sports editorial office twenty years ago, I took it as a nice part-time job while studying. In the end, it was a piece of life. Body Vteřiny goals, Olympic studies, commentating and trips to the field… I enjoyed all of this and it pushed me both professionally and personally,” read the beginning of a long text on the presenter’s Instagram.
“But my scope has always been wider and lately it’s been a bit of a difficult juggling act. September will thus be my last month in the Czech Television sports jersey. I wanted to say goodbye at the top and with a successfully managed big event. Thanks to Olympic Paris, I was able to do it and I am grateful for it. Thank you for all the wonderful opportunities I have been given. Now it’s time to move on,” Černošková recalled her time at the Olympic Games in Paris, where she co-hosted the Hour of Paris program with Robert Záruba and accompanied the daily broadcast.
However, Černošková is not saying goodbye to the screens of the Czech Television completely, she will continue to host the show Sama doma, now as an outsider. “However, I want to devote myself to new projects, teaching activities, moderating and organizing events,” she continued in her statement.
Recently, the blonde presenter has started to devote herself more to charity work, and this will be her core work right now. “I also participate in the creation of two books, and my heart was won by the Yellow Ribbon association, where I am the patron of children of imprisoned parents. As part of crime prevention, I go running in prisons, so sport will always be a part of my life. I feel that my work has meaning there,” she admitted to her fans on Instagram.
Černošková’s departure comes only shortly after another longtime face, Nora Fridrichová, said goodbye to Czech Television. However, according to her statement, the two departures are not related. “When I was thinking about everything, I had no idea that I would get into a somewhat turbulent period of Czech television. I don’t want to artificially delay my departure because of this,” Černošková writes in the post.
The last time viewers will see the smiling presenter is in the program Goals, points, seconds on September 29. “Thank you all for your favors, which I greatly appreciate. You were a great audience. Best. We’ll see each other in Branky until September 29 and then we’ll come up with some more fun. Thanks for everything and good luck to the sport!’
