The upheavals continue in another political force in our country.
After more than a month of negotiations for the general appearance of the PP-DB coalition in the early parliamentary elections, the negotiating team of “Yes, Bulgaria” reports that no agreement has been reached.
This was stated on Facebook by Ivaylo Mirchev, one of the team, a former MP and member of Hristo Ivanov’s party leadership.
There is no agreed framework agreement, the politician from “Yes, BG” rejects the speculations in the public space.
He points out that the decision on the future of the coalition will be made tonight by the National Assembly of “Yes, Bulgaria”, but expresses his personal opinion that, despite the rejected proposals of “Yes, Bulgaria”, the three formations should still go to the vote together.
In order to receive higher support from the voters as a coalition, “Yes, BG” insisted on the rejection of party parceling in the quota lists, explains Ivaylo Mirchev in his post.
“The question for us was how PP-DB should begin to expand its support. And it is clear that this cannot be done according to the “more of the same” formula, especially in terms of personnel. Our goal was to give up party quotas, and not to renegotiate them. Unfortunately, our proposals were not accepted. Therefore, it cannot be said that there was an agreement between the three parties, due to the existing differences on these extremely important issues.” he is categorical.
