Hydrating Micro Infusion Treatment de Dermalab: 8/10
What is microneedling?
Microneedling is a treatment, usually performed in a beauty salon. It consists of passing a device equipped with tiny needles over the skin, creating micro-perforations, in order to stimulate the dermis and boost the production of collagen and elastin, as well as to increase the effect of the products applied afterwards. It is mainly used in anti-aging treatments but can also be used for stretch marks or bags under the eyes.
Quality/price
74 euros is not expensive for a beauty tool, but still less expensive than the average price of a treatment in a salon.
The treatment is performed on cleansed skin and with clean hands. The box contains the tool equipped with needles and a sealed bottle with serum. You must start by opening this bottle and pouring the serum into the reservoir of the microneedling roll-on. Then shake it several times to make the product penetrate. All you have to do is get started.
Start by “dabbing” the product in the center of your face and work your way outward. Detailed instructions are available here (in English). You can also use it around the eyes and mouth. And don’t forget the neck and décolleté.
After the treatment, I notice that my skin is smoother and has a healthy glow, but I think it takes multiple applications to see really impressive results (i.e. fewer wrinkles and a more even skin tone). Of course, my skincare routine is pretty extensive anyway, so for someone with a more basic routine, the before and after effects will undoubtedly be even stronger.
The positive points
- The results are immediate. The day after the treatment, my skin has a beautiful glow and is very soft.
- My pores appear finer and more even than before treatment.
- The following week, my skin is very well hydrated, supple and elastic.
- The device is easy to use, even if you don’t have much experience with it.
- I feel a slight tingling from the product, but it’s not painful at all. The needles are so fine that you can barely feel them.
Negative points
- After treating my face, neck and décolleté, I have quite a bit of serum left. I would prefer to use it for later use, but unfortunately this is not possible, as everything has to be sterile.
- The price of one application is 74 euros. It is not cheap, even if it is still cheaper than a professional treatment in a salon.

Would I buy it again?
Yes! I especially recommend it to people who want to improve their skin, but don’t have the budget to go to a salon for an expensive treatment.
