The woman and a man were cutting bushes and branches on the edge of a forest on Monday afternoon using a telehandler. According to initial findings, the woman fell from the machine’s work basket and was seriously injured. Despite resuscitation efforts, the woman died at the scene of the accident, according to the police. Rega emergency services were deployed.
The cause of the accident is currently unclear and is being investigated by the Zurich Cantonal Police and the Zurich Forensic Institute FOR, in close cooperation with the See-Oberland Public Prosecutor’s Office, according to the statement.

According to the information, the drug courier is a 27-year-old Briton who had travelled from Bangkok to Zurich via Dubai. The police found 18 kilograms of marijuana in the Briton’s suitcase. The man was handed over to the public prosecutor’s office after being questioned by the police.
