/ world today news/ If the elections were held now, BSP would win with a minimal lead over GERB, and five parties would enter parliament, according to the data from a nationally representative survey conducted by “Market Links”, commissioned and financed by bTV.
21.4% of the respondents would support BSP, and 20.8% would vote for GERB. The difference is only 0.6 percentage points. Third is the “United Patriots” coalition with a score of 7.1%. The “Volya” formation of Veselin Mareshki wins 6.2% support. Fifth place are DPS with 6.1%
Below the barrier of 4% remain the Reform Bloc, the association “Yes, Bulgaria Movement”, “New Republic” and the coalition of ABV and “Movement 21”. According to the respondents, the main problem facing the country is poverty and low incomes.
In second place, the participants of the study put corruption, followed by unemployment, bad management and health care. 58% of those polled are adamant that they will vote, and only 9.9% say they are determined not to vote.
The rest are undecided, with over 20% saying they would rather vote and almost 7% saying they would rather not vote.
To the question: “In what direction do you expect the country to develop?” more 13% of the respondents say: “In a positive way”. Not so categorical, but still optimistic about the future of Bulgaria are just over 36%. The rest are certain – or at least have an expectation that we will go for the worse.
