Acapulco, Gro., September 1, 2024.- The Municipal President Abelina Lopez Rodriguez has complied with the observations made by the State Audit Office (ASE) for an amount of 520 million 377 thousand 165 pesos corresponding to the fiscal year 2022.
Since last April, the local administration has submitted the documentation required to solve all the Observationswith no pending cases recorded to date.
The Municipal Government of Acapulco, through the Internal Control Body, has sent a complete report in digital and physical format to clarify and resolve the observations noted in the Individual Report of Audit 2022-C-CF-01-001-2023.
The report, delivered on a certified USB, a CD y 51 certified filesaddresses and justifies all actions and documents requested by the ASE.
This report was formally received by the Superior Audit Office of the State of Guerrero on April 12, 2024, marking a significant step in the process of oversight and transparency of municipal government.
Abelina Lopez Rodriguezwho assumed the municipal presidency in October 2021inherited an administration with one of the largest municipal debts in the country.
However, the current administration has managed to reduce the debt. public to 4.9 percent, placing it in sixth place among the municipalities with the lowest public debt in Mexicoaccording to the Center for Public Finance Studies of the Chamber of Deputies.
