PARTNER Les Herbiers supports its client based in Les Herbiers and specialized in the field of sheet metal and boilermaking, in the design and finalization of storage projects, handling of bulk products and industrial vehicle equipment.
Surface treatment operator M/F
Reporting to the team leader, while following manufacturing instructions, you ensure the proper finishing of the customer product by using surface treatment processes wisely.
Your missions:
– Ensure the correct handling of parts that may be bulky in your area (sandblasting, painting, etc.).
– Check the part before sandblasting or passivation
– Prepare and treat surfaces before painting, mask the parts to be protected
– Carry out all necessary layers of coating or protection
– Identify the nature of the surface treatment (painting or sandblasting) that you must apply based on the instructions and/or plans and/or ranges communicated to you.
– Organize the cleaning of paint and sandblasting booths
– Organize the positioning (hanging) of the processed parts
– Check the quality of the finish and the thickness of the paint*
Normal working hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30 a.m. 12 p.m./1:30 p.m. 5:15 p.m. Friday 7:30 a.m. 12:30 p.m. (variable hours if required).
Hourly rate between €11.65 and €12.50 gross per hour, depending on experience and basic training.
Overtime increased by 25% beyond 35 hours.
Temporary assignment contract.

Desired profile
Specific professional knowledge:
– Reading the instructions
– CAP industrial painter training desired
The CACES R489 forklifts and R482 overhead cranes will be a plus, training can be considered after discussion with the company.
